The theory of communication

The more you work, the less interaction you will have. That's a natural thing. Thanks to the invention of Instant messaging, the reduction of the communication gap may seemed to have enlarged the capacity of one to communicate. Now the notion of whether true communication can be conducted via these IMs are really questionnable. Yes, you talk with people for work but then the interaction at the end is still not as intimid as if you were interacting face-to-face with a person.

Now another case is the discussion on the dining table. The higher your seniority, the more power you can talk. Now, what if we are dining on the same table but then you are the latest entry of all? Well, the answer lies in whether you guys know each other well. It's very hard to talk with those whom you don't even talk on the so-called "same channel". Football is a hit topic in the World Cup event nowadays but then if you don't know it, those who know will get away the topic from you. The consequence? Nothing can be brought onto the table. Now, you might say then what's the point of having to dine with these people? Well, let's think about it...

The perspective of dining is huge and I guess we will have to learn and survive well in this business world. Communication should bridge the gap when you are willing to share and tell them what enjoy life means. Those who attempts to separate, to my perception, will be separated if they continue to have this theory in mind. To enjoy life is to commute, to know one's limitation and walk around.
